Cette console développée par Sega était en fait une Master System avec une palette de couleurs améliorée. Esthétique et ayant une excellente logithèque, elle possédait toutefois une grosse lacune qui était son autonomie, qui n’excédait pas 4 heures avec 6 piles normales…Ceci était dû à un écran rétro-éclairé magnifique mais très gourmand…Des accessoires originaux furent conçus, comme par exemple le Tuner-TV qui permettait de recevoir la Télé sur sa Game Gear !
